Yes! This is GREAT! Seems like James will be featured in both Italian and Spanish album of Laura Pausini, with "Primavera Anticipada feat. James Blunt (Spanish Version)" and "Primavera in Anticipo feat. James Blunt (English Version)"... so this would be the first James song in Spanish!!!!!.

I've been playing it all day and just can't bring myself to turn it of. It is a beautiful song and James sings in Spanish and English and they sound so good together. We all know that James has a lovely voice but so does Laura and it's a very addictive song and once you hear it to you won't be able to switch it of either.

I can't wait to see the video to it and hopefully hear it live one day.

By the way I say Laura Pausini yesterday at the Argentinian TV, she is in Buenos Aires to promote "Primavera Anticipada", she sang two songs, she was great, and she spoke Spanish all the time!.

Ok, in the penultimate video you posted there's Laura talking about her new album (the 11th in Italian and the 10th in Spanish). She first explains how this album has come out and how much she's happy to have written all those songs...and blablabla, I don't really think you are interested on the her other CDs like Resta in Ascolto (Go on listening) and Io canto (I sing), whose she talks about during the first part of her speech. I won't either translate all the nice words she says for the Italian singer-sonwriter, Gianluca Grignani, who she sings with in a song called Prima che esci (Bifore you go out).
I guess you want to know what she says about James, don't you?
(minute 3:03) "The second collaboration has born by chance, I don't like to duet with someone just because I HAVE TO do it, I don't think a disc will be sold more with a duet, even though, you know, a strong collaboration could help its selling. By the way, I don't like to record songs that I don't feel as mine or that don't come from a true desire of two singers, two interpreters that truly respect each other and love what they do. So... I just went to a James Blunt's concert in Milan in April, I went there as a fan, as lots of you who buy CDs and so are exited to be at that concert, looking for meet the person who had interpreted lots of your thoughts by singing a song.
And I found him out greater than what I thought, 'cause I saw on the platform a man that sings closing his eyes and, sometimes, smiling. He is very deep. I recognized myself in him, so I run out to his dressing-room after his gig, and asked him to think of a possible collaboration with me. As an impatient as I am, I didn't wait for him to send me something, but it came to my mind a song (that I had from a couple of days, to be honest), a song which is, you know, Primavera in Anticipo. I sent it to him and he answered at once, and, even though he's a songwriter and as so, he doesn't like to interpreter songs written by others, James showed me, with his desire to share his voice with me, to be a real friend and an excellent artist. I'm really happy because this "Spring which has come early" (the translation of Primavera in Anticipio) could not be as flowery without him."
Then she talks about her desire to be in tour in Europe, South and North America, Canada, Australia... She also explains that "Invece no" ("En cambio no", or "No, instead!") is dedicated to people who want to tell something else to a person but they can't, would it because the other person is dead or simply gone.

So we got the answer that we wanted: Laura wrote the music and some lyrics, and James the English part. ^^

At least, it's what I understood! xD

I have listened to this song often since I got my ATLS deluxe CD/DVD and it such a beautiful collaboration... it proves that music is a universal language and you don't have to understand the words to feel the message or beauty of a song. I don't know any Italian but I can understand and relate to the emotion of the song.

Hello everyone. This lyric has some mistakes. This is the correct lyric in Spanish and my translation. Well, my English is not very perfect but I hope I could manage to make myself understood.

Last week (17.04.09) 19th, this week only 25th but it's in it !!!!!!!!!

yesterday was an interview with Laura Pausini in the newspaper here..Laura gives a concert in Zurich at May 8th. and she speak about the spring feelings she have, the new love, about the duett with James and about his aunt Ines here in switzerland..

for all the ones who don't speak German .... (hope it'll give you at least an impression - it's just only a small part dealing with James and the duet) :

question: Your current hit is really strong. How did it come to sing a duet with James Blunt?
Lauras answer: Usually I turn a song into a duet when I realise (while writing the song) that I can not sing parts of it myself. It was different for "primavera in anticipo" though. The solo demo was ready already when James invited me to one of his concerts. Expieriencing him there live on stage for the very first time I was so thrilled by his charisma and the interpretation of the songs I only know from the cd that I was asking him backstage to sing a song with me. In that very night I mailed him the demo. He added a male part. Now it's our combined song.

question: So the duet was no clever managemant move?
Lauras answer: Absolutely not! To get it going in the back of the label was even giving me an additional motivation (grinning impishly)

question: Was it easy to reconcile both of your voices?
Lauras answer: Yes, my soft and clear voice matches perfectly his coarse completely different one.

forgot to mention that the song climbed up to #10 in the Bavarian top ten this week .... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! charts for Germany will be published tomorrow noon.

Thanks Tayline, great news Primavera Anticipada is at 6th position in Switzerland and also registering in Germany. The song is lovely ---- and wonder if we'll hear it on radio down under, but I think Stations in nz tend to be pretty slow on the uptake.

don't think it's entirely his fan base in Italy that's making the song number one there for such a long time. Laura Pausini is VERY famous and loved there. (!!!!! No offence to his Italian fans meant !!!!!)

Nevertheless, it's a brilliant opportunity to advance that fan base there! Being in the charts (even if it's together with Laura) is just the best for him to happen ... Hopefully the Itlians will remember his special voice when he comes back with a new album! Apart from that, it's a very nice song anyway ... ;-)
