I went to buy a new cell phone and was trying to decide between two. One model had one song on it and it was "1973".

I was in the Verizon store waiting to be helped when I heard James singing. I had to concentrate - I didn't know if it was ringing in my ears from listening to ATLS so loudly in the car! But, no, it was playing in the store.

A guy from the army came along and showed us a powerpoint presentation, the first slide was a big pic of James (but i didn't recognise him caus he had really short hair.........) The guy from the army told us about how he was one of the first into Kosovo, and saw horrible stuff babies left to die in the streets. He also said (the army guy, not James) that it was useful that James had written No bravery. The army guy thanked me later for my knowlege on James.

Yesterday at work when I was placing an order for our company I was put on hold and to my pleasant surprise 1973 was playing while I was on hold...for once in my life I wish I could have been put on hold a little longer! Then after work I went out with some friends for some appetizers and drinks and 1973 comes blaring over the radio in the restaurant!

I was in Posh, a local boutique here in Nashville, and B2B was playing in full. I had to laugh because the store is called Posh and who was playing?
I have never heard anything but "You're Beautiful" played from B2B in public. We do hear 1973 around here.

I have James Blunts CD on in my car ALL the time.
Yesterday while waiting at a signal the car next to me was waving at me. I turned the music down and the driver turned his music up.
It was a song from "ALL THE LOST SOULS"
We were both on the same page.
We high fived and drove on.

Great feeling to find other Blunt fans out there

The radio station that plays James' music and is the most listened to in the most populated area of Atlantic Canada uses the instrumental of 1973 in its advertising of themselves.

During my 'creative thinking' course B2B was played in the background by the trainer to help us "think" better.

Someone in the class asked "Is that a woman singing?"

I didn't laugh honest.

Heard James Blunt's 1973 playing while eating at the Red Lobster. It sounded so good. The style and rhythm are so different,it is refreshing to hear when it comes on.It is so different from most of the music you hear. That is why in USA it takes a while of hearing the style and melody, as it will grow on you. James greatest fan. Love. Loril.
