There's quite a change of design [although we still have the monkey king *yay*]. All the lost souls with the neon-lights and Back to bedlam with that "stream" out of james's head etc.
Which one do you like better and why?
I like both but... probably the design of BTB better, but then the new one fits the topics of the songs..oh well I don't know XD
[EDIT: I mean the albums too ]

I love the design of ATLS but still like the old B2B design better. The neon signs and the small photos of James are nice but I definitely miss the charm of the old website.

Back To Bedlam.
Though to argue - All The Lost Souls artwork is just so cool.
Back To Bedlam is like Happy Days [TV show].
All The Lost Souls is Happy Days, but The Fonz has just walked in.

Back To Bedlam but that's because ATLS is still new to me. Ask me again this time next year and my answer may be different again.

I just think I'm in a Leisure Suit Larry game when I'm here... too many neon's... oh I want the green back... green so calming, so fresh, so... Kermit the Frog like...
But yay... the Monkey King is here... oooh, wonder if you can play with him like you could on the old site...

I had to check out the artwork on B2B again cuz i forgot what it looks like.
I love the collague(sp?) on ATLS. I've always looved those kind of images (many small ones making up a large one).
I think James looks like Jim Morrison on the B2B cover.
They are both great in their own ways.

I find the album cover to All the Lost Souls the most intriguing of the three albums I have, as each face of James at a different stage of his life from childhood to recent years, making up his whole face. It reminds me of Eschler the illustrator a bit. I imagine the reinventing of his image is part and parcel of the music industry. Not that it's a criticism as most people living in the west have some pressure about image, but obviouisly not to the same degree. Anyhow I really like the cover, that's the main point really!

ATLS in my opinion was the best so far. Artistically beautiful with hidden meanings. Poetic, in a sense.
Spinning on my heels....so far away from real <3

For those of us who like the little details (and thanks to an eagle eyed missy), here's a link to the maker of the ATLS neon sign. Scroll down the gallery and it's close to the bottom on the left hand side.
