No Paul, Karl or Malcolm last night apparently Ina so Chris must be a new member of the team.

Hello Chris,

I am going to enjoy you playing tomorrow in A' Dam. I do not know exactly who played in the band before.
Maybe you will sign my book after the performance?

I am really looking forward to hear you all.

LOVE!

Welcome to the Blunty world Chris!

Here's a little more information about the "new" band member, Chris Pemberton. Far from being a beginner, he was a member of the former music band "Budapest" (1999-2006). He worked a lot with John Garrison and is still working with him. Actually, I remember that Chris was at "229 The Venue" in London last October when I went to see Satellites performing. Chris' trademark is definitely that he loves to wear a hat.

You can appreciate Chris' work in this video filmed at St.Saviour's church in London last year when John recorded there for the album Satellites 02.

I'm sure it's not easy for Chris to step into Beardy's shoes knowing how much Paul is appreciated by the fans. Let's welcome him the best we can. If Chris and Simon (the new drummer) take the time to wander around the venue, they will make lots of friends quickly among the fans, there's no doubt about that.

Chris, Just in case you actually read this. I know we as a bunch did and do love Paul. Please don't let that put you off! You are doing a fantastic job and speaking for myself...... I mostly loved Paul because he wandered in the lobbies of gigs before shows and made himself available to us. There is no need of doing this but we loved him for it.

As far as on stage and strictly speaking for me, you have overcome much of my loss of Paul for two reasons. First, I never experienced No Tears live with him and secondly because you have been playing it with such incredible heart. Bravo!!! And welcome to the Blunt nut house!

One more thing.... We had the tiniest encounter with your lovely wife and are charmed to pieces by her!

Thanks for the nod after No Tears in Bournemouth!

Hi Chris!

I just wanted to say thank you for the great time in Brussels.
You are such a nice guy and you are really amazing on stage.
Thank you for spending time with us after the concert. I had such a blast
By the way, I still have a good laugh when I think about the guy asking you if I was your wife
Hope to see and meet you again someday during this tour xx

Hi Chris,

thank you for your "beautiful dawn" and the little chat we had. You are such a sweetheart AND left hand as well Today is the international left Hand day - so give me left high five!!

Thanks a lot for taking time for a picture. Unfortunately it is out of focus. So it would be very very kind of you if we both could repeat it in october

sending hugs from Hamburg

Ina, are you sure the pic is blurry or was it too much Reisling or Gummy Bears?

Perhaps it was Thommy who drank too much?! You know he can´t the anything in the darkness and without his glasses he do not see anything near his eyes..
