Hello everybody,

some of you might have read on the board that were going to have a boardie meeting in Germany this summer and the response is rather possitive - thank to you all .... http://forum.jamesblunt.com/viewtopic.php?t=5531

Anyway, as far as I know there is no German James Blunt fan club yet and thats why Im about to establish one with the aim of bringing together as many of his German fans as possible (of course fans from other countries are welcome as well). The formation is already in a pretty advanced state as I did get a lot of support from littlecathy chairman of the French fan club who even offered me a collaboration of our two clubs. (THANK YOU very much littlecathy for all of your help and I will be delighted to work with you and to share our experiences with you and your club members!).
I also approached James management with the petition of acknowledgement and support (no answer yet, but hopefully a positive reply soon).

Nevertheless a club is only as good and strong as its members so I do use this opportunity to announce my intentions. If youre interested in sharing your admiration for James and his music with others within a society like this club, please do contact me (or littlecathy if you want) for further information about what were planning to do. Thank you in advance for supporting the club and eventually for supporting James!

Hope to meet a lot of you soon in the club and Im looking forward to seeing some of you at the boardie meeting in August
Kejy

Hello Kejy,
Im Mona P. from South Germany/ Bodensee- Gegend. Im 44 years next month. Ive just red your idea of forming a german fan- club for James Blunt. What a nice idea! May I ask how old are you then? Im a Blunt- fan since 2005. Anyway, Ill tell you now, that Ive had the same idea one week ago, too!!! But I didnt wanted to write it on the board yet, because at first I wanted to make an inquiry at the Management. So what is your idea of forming a James- fan- club then? Please let me know!!! Im interested!
Im very interested in the music of James and Im not interested in private themes of him. Im a 100% true and deep fan of James!
On the 29th of August Im in Munic for to see the Coldplay- Concert there. Further I have a bit little time because Ive got family. Have you already red the german Biography of James? I have...

I wish you well and... Cheers from MONA P.

FROM BILLY - PLEASE NOTE THAT NONE OF THESE FAN SITES ARE OFFICIAL, UNLESS THEY ARE THE WARNER/ATLANTIC RECORDS WEBSITE FOR EACH COUNTRY. THE ONLY WEBSITE RUN BY JAMES BLUNT OR FOR JAMES BLUNT IS THIS ONE - www.jamesblunt.com

IF YOU ARE ASKED FOR MONEY FROM ANY FANSITE, DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK AND UNDERSTANDING. THEY ARE NOT ACCOUNTABLE TO JAMES BLUNT OR WARNER/ATLANTIC RECORDS.

TEXT, PICTURES, VIDEO AND AUDIO MATERIAL POSTED BY THE JAMES BLUNT WEBSITE MODERATOR/ADMINISTRATOR ON THE JAMES BLUNT WEBSITE, OR RELEASED BY WARNER/ATLANTIC RECORDS, IS COPYRIGHT AND SHOULD NOT BE PUBLISHED ON FANSITES WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM RECORD LABEL AND/OR PUBLISHER.

So I thought I'd clarify a bit more about fansites or national "James Blunt" websites -

Warner/Atlantic Records have one or two national websites. These are clearly stated as run by those record companies. Otherwise all other "James Blunt" websites are unofficial fansites, whether they carry the words "official" or not!

First and foremost, we are hugely grateful that people may start and maintain national fansites. Your support and ability to translate such loyalty to your own country is appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

However, we are nervous that fansites may claim they are "official" and break copyright laws, or claim that they in some way represent James Blunt. As such, we can only thank people very much for their great support by creating such fansites, but not endorse those sites as we can't moderate them.

Thanks once again.

Hey kejy
I also told you what I think..
It's a great idea but in my opinion, the board is enough for me.. I mean, as a "fanclub".
Here are all the fans united, from all countries which makes it so special for me.

I know that you won't quit this site, that you just want to run another site, and I'll support the fanclub, no question. it's for james, so, why not
but I just think that it will be maybe too much.. don't know how to explain

cheers

I just checked out allot of the other sites, how proud James should be.I hope he occasionally takes a look, although I do believe he has already done so, knowing what a great man he is.I feel he does really care for his fans.

Thanks Billy for the explanation of 'official' I now understand the clarification of them and realize they are loyal fan sites and proud fans sharing the JB love for all of us.We are lucky there are great designers who do show such talent for us to view on these wondrous websites!

Post subject: Great News Inside!...

Hi guys! As some of you know i've been absent for a while now for several reasons, mostly because of my studies (I finished Highschool and started the Uni), and also I've been working pretty hard on James new website in Spanish!. Well some of you probably remember the website "Semi By The Sea", an unofficial website I did last year. Well this time I'm going big since I've been talking to EMI Music / Warner here in my country so I can be in charge of the official Latinamerican website!. The final design of the page is almost done, but I still need your opinion.
What section would you like to have on a new James website? Would you like the site to be in different languages (such as Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, or not?)... I need opinions! So start commenting!. ;-)

diehardmusefan Posted: 03 May 2009 04:50 am
Hey Bruno! I think the sight should be in all languages because all fans want to converse.

That way it'll be better for them!

bluesoul Posted: 03 May 2009 07:33 am
wow Bruno that's great that you can be in charge of the official spanish site, and congratulations on your studies well done.

I think it would be nice for people to have the option of viewing in their language - so if the front page was in spanish you could click on English ect and be able to read everything - I'm not really sure how all these things work but will look forward to having a look round your site when completed.

I'm sure all your hard work will be appreciated

xxxx

bluesoul Posted: 03 May 2009 07:35 am
Drat can't edit and ment to say in charge of the latinamerican website - sorry!!

lady blunt Posted: 03 May 2009 07:36 am
As James has fans all over the world, multi languages would be best.
What section's would i like to see, up to date latest news and lot's of pictures.

kitinia Posted: 03 May 2009 08:23 am
First of all,congrats bruno!
I think it better to do it in a few languages but you'll have a lot of work...

jaxx Posted: 03 May 2009 04:46 pm
Well done Bruno! Thats brilliant!

Fentiger Posted: 03 May 2009 05:04 pm
Excellent news Bruno!

jbfan132 Posted: 03 May 2009 10:00 pm
Wow Bruno! That must be your biggest project on James and I'm sure it will be brilliant. Does that mean that I should register now for Spanish courses? lol ... and congratulations for university registration. You're a busy guy! xx

That's great Bruno, I was waiting for an official site in spanish! I don't know about doing it in several languages, that would be a lot of work. Besides, there's already several websites in different languages.

I was just spelling it how it sounded in english not how it was spelled in Russian. I remeber now, that is what it meant!!!, so I wasn't too far off in the sound. I did learning something in university after all. LOL.
